The Trump campaign argued that this constituted “blatant foreign interference” and demanded an urgent investigation.
UK Prime Minister Starmer Responds
Following Trump’s complaint, UK Prime Minister and Labour Party leader Keir Starmer responded, stating from Samoa that Labour Party volunteers have participated in almost every U.S. election and do so in their free time. Regarding the claims of accommodations being arranged, Starmer commented, “I believe they are staying with other volunteers.”
